What exactly do I get for a business?+
A finished, mobile-ready website built from their own Google photos and reviews (and menu, when there is one), a link to show them, and a pitch for email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and in person. Edit anything, send it, and publish it the moment they agree.
Can I make money building websites for local businesses?+
Yes. Plenty of local businesses still have no website, or one that is broken on phones, and most owners would pay to fix it but never get round to it. Turning up with the new site already built removes the work for them. What you earn depends on how many businesses you contact and what you charge; there is no guaranteed income.
How much should I charge for a small business website?+
Small independents commonly pay $500 to $1,500 for a café, salon or barber, $1,000 to $3,000 for trades and clinics, and $2,000 to $6,000 for dentists and law firms. Many sellers also charge $20 to $50 a month for hosting and small edits. You set the price; SitesGen takes no share.
Where do the businesses come from?+
Google Maps and OpenStreetMap, for the neighbourhood you name. SitesGen checks every website — missing, dead, broken on phones, out of date — and rank them. Chains and mall units are filtered out.
Is it my site or theirs?+
Yours until they say yes. When they do, you set the price, press Publish, and it is live on a sitesgen.site address in a second — or on their own domain, which takes two DNS records. Hosting is included in your plan. The site carries a working contact form and every enquiry lands in your inbox and theirs.
Do the sites look generated?+
No. Each site is designed for its trade, and no two in the same neighbourhood look alike. The examples above are untouched output for demo businesses.
What happens after the $1 trial?+
After seven days it becomes Starter at $19 a month, so you can keep going without doing anything. We email you two days before. If it's not for you, cancel in Settings before the trial ends and you won't be charged again; anything you published stays live.
Do I need hosting, a domain, or a developer?+
No. Publishing is one click and hosting is part of the plan. If the business already owns a domain, you point it at the site with two DNS records we show you; if not, they buy one anywhere and you connect it. Prefer to host it yourself? Download the site as a single file.
Is cold outreach allowed?+
Rules differ by country. We only use contact details a business publishes itself, and you send every message yourself, from your own accounts. Whether you may is your call.
