How we work

Every car is washed by hand, decontaminated, corrected and sealed before it leaves.

No drive-through brushes and no rushed jobs. A full correction takes two days, because that is how long it takes to do properly.

The unit

A clean, lit, heated bay, so nothing gets rushed

We work from our own unit with proper lighting, filtered water and a heated floor, so coatings cure the way the maker intends.

Wait with a coffee for a wash, or drop the car off for anything longer and we will send you photos as it goes.

How a detail runs

From the first look to handing back the keys, usually one to three days.

  1. 01

    Inspection under lights

We go round the car with you and a paint depth gauge, and agree what can and cannot come out.

  2. 02

    Wash and decontaminate

Snow foam, hand wash, iron fallout remover and clay, so the polish only meets clean paint.

  3. 03

    Correct

Machine polishing, panel by panel, checked under different lights as we go.

  4. 04

    Protect

Coating, sealant or film, left to cure in the heated bay overnight.

  5. 05

    Handover

We walk you round it in daylight and explain the aftercare. Photos of every stage come with it.

Who does it

Two people, and they both touch your car

From a customer

Dropped the car off with swirls you could see from across the road. Picked it up looking better than the day I bought it, and they sent photos all the way through.

Before you book

Good questions

How long will you need the car?

A wash is about two hours. Enhancement is a day. Full correction and coating is two to three days, because the coating needs to cure.

Can you come to me?

Washes and interiors, yes, within ten miles. Correction and coatings are done in the unit, where the light and temperature are right.

Is a ceramic coating worth it?

If you keep the car more than a couple of years, usually. It makes washing quicker and protects the correction. We will tell you honestly if it is not worth it on your car.

How do I pay?

Card or bank transfer when you collect. Coatings and film need a deposit to book the bay.
